Director

NoahLani’s love for animals and nature has fueled more than a decade of volunteer work with non-profit and government organizations focused on monitoring and protecting endangered and indicator species. While advocating for endangered coho salmon in Marin County, California, he first encountered river otters—ironically, as they feasted on the very salmon he was working to protect.

In addition to his conservation work, NoahLani is an attorney based in Denver, Colorado, where he specializes in intellectual property litigation. He maintains a robust pro bono practice supporting criminal justice, civil rights, and immigration advocacy. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Art from Whitman College.

He is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying rock climbing, backpacking, surfing, scuba diving, and canoeing. He is also a dedicated sculptor and digital artist. In addition to his creative and outdoor pursuits, he is a licensed Emergency Medical Technician in the State of California and holds a Wilderness EMT certification through the National Outdoor Leadership School.
